The sky is the limit

I like to be good at something, and I absolutley love to be the best. Therefore I try to do a lot of the things I’m good at, to strenghten my confidence. But it’s also important to do things you are not so good at, or have to work hard with, because nothing is better than the sense of achievement. You can of course live your life within your little comfort sone, but if you dare to challenge yourself, you will experience that you can do so much more. If you really want to,you can do it!
This is one of the keys to success.
Are you staying in your comfort zone, or are you challenging yourself? Ever had an great feeling of achievement before?
Love Kristin

I think doing YOUR best is the most important thing, and not comparing yourself to others. Their best may not be your best, and vice versa. Whatever ‘the best’ means to you will grant you that sense of achievement.
I agree with you!:) But I have to say that I find it hard to not campare myself to others..
I do it every day. It is so hard. I guess ‘practice what you preach’ should be my motto.
Wow…. I LOVED THIS!!! Thank you for posting it.
Thank YOU for reading it!
Reblogged this on Lose Weight, Love You.
My life would not be if I had not challanged myself each and every day. Thank you for this, it is wonderful
Our comfort zone is designed to keep us from danger (the unknown) but if we don’t keep it in check we can lose out on a lot of living.
I have to agree. If we stay too in control then we never feel able to try anything because we think we know where it goes already. Being too in control is like being out of control and if we don’t wake up to this then we might realize one day that life is one big, weird social experiment. I don’t want to wake up and feel I’m the experiment. Maybe the experiment is to see what it will take in order for us to break out of those barriers, and some of us may have been failing that test for a long time only to get a rude awakening. Me included, *sigh*. This makes me think.
Thinking is good.
I hadn’t thought of it the way you said it – being too in control also puts us out of control as well. That is very well put.
Marteandkristin, I agree with your post. Comfort zones can cause some of us to miss out on exciting adventures in our lives. Experiences we can cherish. I agree with Chris we must challenge ourselves daily. Nice blog.
Thank you for this. I have to say that stepping out of my comfort zone is a definite challenge for me. I have to feel confident that I will be successful before I’m willing to do it.
Methinks I have a lot of lessons to learn…
I’m a nature and landscape photographer. I don’t do well photographing people. But every once in awhile someone will ask me to shoot them because they’ve said how much they love my photography. I attempt to gently tell them that I don’t photograph people.
Sometimes they still insist that they want me. I will occasionally abide them and 90% of the time they are more than pleased w/the results. I have to step out of my OWN comfort zone. It’s the only way to get better at what we do.
Thanks for this reminder.
